Foi para atender a um pedido dos fãs que Ana Maria Braga resolveu escrever seu primeiro romance. A apresentadora conta que, há quase dois anos, teve a ideia para “À espera dos filhos da luz” (Ediouro, R$ 29,90), que traz também mensagens positivas e de autoajuda como as que ela lê diariamente em seu programa. O lançamento é nesta terça-feira, no Shopping Fashion Mall, em São Conrado, às 18h.— Estão me pedindo esse livro há mais de 12 anos, mas eu não tinha achado um jeito de fazer isso. Achava que só copiar as mensagens do dia a dia seria uma coisa muito pobre. E aí achei um jeito: escrever um romance.
O cenário do livro é Montecito, uma fictícia vila medieval no interior da Itália, e a história se passa no século 14. A trama gira em torno de Ana Clara, uma jovem que, aos 17 anos, descobre que é uma Filha da Luz, uma pessoa com dons especiais, capaz de mudar a vida das pessoas a seu redor.
— Queria mostrar que sentimentos como amor, ódio, angústia são atemporais. E coloco pensamentos meus e de outras pessoas, que se encaixam com o que eu queria dizer através do personagem naquele momento. Estou muito orgulhosa do resultado.
Escritora de primeira viagem, Ana conta que não teve dificuldades para colocar as ideias no papel:
— Escrevia todas as noites, nos fins de semana... Eu já tinha a trama na cabeça, e fui criando as situações aos poucos. Mas, depois que você cria o personagem, ele toma vida própria. Foi muito gostoso.
